Growkit step-by-step instructions - you can not do this in many countries - check the legal status before use - for example, in Poland, you can not apply these instructions (categorically!) to mycelium cubensis. Below are instructions on how not to handle grow putty under any circumstances in countries where it is prohibited by law. GROWKIT MANUAL CUBENSIS - method one / GrowKit.com manufacturer [not applicable to Psilo.be].

1. Opening the growkit [box] >>> removing the lid.
   
2. Puncture the surface in 6-8 places with a disinfected tool, such as a fork [for no more than 4-5mm - you can also skip this step - then it is worth extending the soaking time].
   
3. Pour water at room temp up to the edge of the box. If the water does not fit because the mycelium is compacted to the edges, then just spray it heavily with water.
   
4. Cover the growkit [box] with a lid and set aside for about 1h (in words, one hour max].
   
5. Remove the lid and pour off the excess water - let it drain for no more than 15 seconds.
   
6. Insert the box (without the lid) Into the bag and pour into it (the bag) 200ml of clean water at room temperature (it must not pour into the box) - be careful.
   
7. Close the bag - rerolling 2 times and securing with clips/clothespins.
   
8. Set aside in a place - where there is no direct sunlight, but not dark - temperature 22-25*C. Do not open the bag until the appearance of "pins" - at this stage you need a high concentration of CO2.
   
9. After a few/some days* "pins" will appear - from this point on, you should open the grow putty 2-3 times a day - to provide fresh air. You can fan - to facilitate air exchange - but this is not required. If the walls of the bag do not have (from the inside) water droplets then spray them gently with water - only the walls (do not spray on the mushrooms).
   
10. After a few days after the appearance of pins, when the first fruiting bodies begin to open their hats - pick all (even unopened) fruiting bodies and return to step 3.

GROWKIT INSTRUCTIONS - alternate way - as it is more convenient for someone - [not applicable to Psilo.be].

1. Points 1- 3 jw.
   
2. Cover growkit with a lid and set aside for 12h.
   
3. Remove the lid and pour off the excess water - let it drain "all the way".
   
4. Put the box in the bag (without the lid).
   
5. Bag - rewind 2-3 times and use a paperclip to prevent unrolling.
   
6. Set aside in a place - where there is no direct sunlight, but not dark - temperature 20-25*C. Do not open the bag until the "pins" appear - a high concentration of CO2 is needed.
   
7. After a few/several* days, "pins" will appear - from then on, you should open the grow kit 2-3 times a day - to provide fresh air. You can fan (to facilitate air exchange) and spray the walls of the growkit with water [not directly on the mushrooms].
   
8. After a few days* from the appearance of the pins, when the fruiting bodies begin to open their hats - pick all (even unopened) fruiting bodies and return to point 3 from method one.

GROWKIT MANUAL COPELAND

Refers to Hawaiian (Copelandia Cyanescens)

1. Unpack the contents of the package
   
2. Remove the lid from the grow kit [box] and do not throw it away - place it preferably in a string bag. Store it in a clean place. You will need it later. Attention! Colorful Discoloration on the "cake" is normal for this species.
   
3. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and evenly apply a layer of topsoil to the top of the kit [all the contents of the two containers] + [do not flood the box with water - this is only after the first cast - point 10].
   
4. Place the [box] growing kit in the bag.
   
5. Lightly spray the grow kit and the inside of the bag with water.
   
6. Squeeze the bag and let in fresh air.
   
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 twice a day [from the beginning/first day - not just after "pinning" as with cubensis].
   
8. After about 15-20 days, fruiting bodies will form - then remove the box from the bag and spray only the inside of the bag. After spraying, place them back in the bag. (COPELAND They do not like direct contact with water).
   
9. 5-7 days after the start of growth, the mushrooms will be ready for harvesting. Harvest 30-36h hours after the first black spores begin to fall from the mushroom caps. Harvest the mushrooms by tilting them until the stem breaks at the base.
   
10. After harvesting, fill the growkit with water and put the lid on - pour off the excess after 9-12h and put it in the bag [without the lid].
    
11. Give fresh air every day [preferably 2 times] and spray only the sides of the bag until the next crop is ready.
    
12. Collect the mushrooms and repeat steps 10 and 11 until the set stops producing mushrooms.
