Description
Variety McKennaii was named after Terence Kemp McKenna (born November 16, 1946, died April 3, 2000) - writer, philosopher - author of several books on psychedelics. A variety often selected in our store. McKennaii is ex aequo with Mazatapec is the second most popular growkit after Golden Teacher. McKennaii description - in short, this is a very nice mushroom with a compact mycelium like any psilocybe cubensis - pick it out, see it under a microscope or magnifying glass, and you won't be disappointed.
McKennaii DOSAGE.
The differences between all Cubensis are minimal - in the case of McKennaii, one can assume:
Small dose - 1 to 2g dried mushrooms or 10-20g fresh ones
Medium - 2.5 to 4g dried mushrooms or 25-40g fresh ones
Strong - 5g dried mushrooms or 50g fresh ones

The effect is magical - it is hoped that someday in Poland it will be possible to legally experience the magic of psilocybin from McKennaii and other psilocybin mushrooms. For example, psilocybin is used for self-discovery, for treating depression, PTSD, alcoholism and many other things.

The right time to harvest Mckennaii Cubensis is when the first fruiting bodies (usually the largest) are just before the hat opens - you can see the cracked membrane.

Finally, a few more words about Terence McKenna in whose honor the variety was named. McKenna first read about psychedelics in Huxley's books. His "rift" with the consumption of a psychedelic substance was the ingestion of flood seeds containing LSA, a substance similar in effect to LSD. He stated that this experience gave direction to his life.
