  1. Definitions

RODO - Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

Service - the service operated by the Administrator at the following address: https://goldenteacher.pl/

User - any natural person visiting the Site or using one or more of the services or functionalities described in the Policy.

  1. Data processing

In connection with the User's use of the Website, the Administrator collects data to the extent necessary to provide individual services. Detailed rules and purposes of processing personal data collected during the User's use of the Website are described below.

  1. Purposes and legal basis for data processing

Personal data of all Users using the Website (including IP address or other identifiers and information collected through cookies), are processed by the Administrator:

  1. for the purpose of providing services electronically in the scope of providing Users with access to content collected on the Website-then the legal basis for processing is the necessity of processing for the performance of the contract (Article 6(1)(b) RODO);
  2. for the purpose of possible establishment and investigation of claims or defense against them - the legal basis of the processing is the legitimate interest of the Administrator (Article 6(1)(f) of the DPA) to protect your rights;
  3. for the purpose of sending commercial information by means of a newsletter, the legal basis for processing is the User's consent (Article 6(1)(a) RODO)

The User's activity on the Service, including his/her personal data, is recorded in system logs (a special computer program used to store a chronological record containing information about events and activities concerning the computer system used to provide services by the Administrator). The information collected in the logs is processed primarily for purposes related to the provision of services. The Administrator also processes them for technical, administrative purposes, for the purposes of ensuring the security of the IT system and the management of this system, as well as for analytical and statistical purposes - in this regard, the legal basis for processing is the Administrator's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) RODO).

  1. Newsletter 

The Administrator processes Users' personal data in order to carry out marketing activities, which may consist in sending the User marketing content corresponding to the User's interests (newsletter); 

For this purpose, after prior consent given by the User, the User's personal data provided on the Website such as name and email address will be transferred to the Administrator's partner ConvertKit.com for the purpose of sending an email message containing content of interest to the User. 

The Administrator does not make automatic decisions in relation to the User and the User's personal data is not subject to profiling. 

  1. Cookies

The Administrator's website uses "cookies". Failure to change the browser settings on the part of the Reader is tantamount to consent to their use. They are short text information, stored on the user's computer, phone, tablet or other device. They can be read by the Administrator, as well as by systems belonging to other entities whose services it uses (such as Google). Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number. Cookies used on the site do not store personal information or other information collected from the Reader. The site uses a cookie to identify a browser session, which enables the use of the site's features. The use of cookie techniques does not permit the collection of any personal or address information of the Reader or any confidential information from the Reader's computer.

Cookies are used for the following purposes: maintaining service security and preventing fraud, facilitating site performance, recording visits for marketing and statistical purposes, using social features, supporting website personalization (e.g. saving language settings). The administrator reserves the right to use the Google Tag Manager tool for marketing purposes. This involves the use of Google cookies, such as Google Ads codes.

on your device. The Administrator informs that you can change the settings in your web browser - completely block the automatic handling of cookies or request notification each time cookies are placed on your device.

The administrator feels obliged to warn that disabling or restricting cookies may cause difficulties in using the website
and limiting its functionality.

    1. Within the EEA

For Hotjar Ltd.-providing a solution for monitoring user activity on the site within the so-called Heatmap.   1. Beyond the EEA:

Due to the fact that some entities working with the Administrator are based outside the European Union, and are therefore considered so-called third countries under the provisions of the RODO. The Administrator ensures that data is transferred to entities in the United States that use standard contractual clauses.  

For Google Inc.-providing Google Analytics solution for monitoring website traffic. The data collected makes it impossible to identify a specific person, and more information about the tool's privacy standards is available at the link www.google.com/intl/pl/policies/privacy/partners/. In addition, using the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout it is possible to disable the activity measured by Google Analytics.

For Facebook Inc. providing the Facebook Pixel solution for monitoring site traffic. -The data collected, as a rule, prevents identification of a specific person, and more information about the tool's privacy standards is available at the link https://developers.facebook.com/docs/privacy/

Thus, it guarantees compliance with data protection standards analogous to the Regulation, and the Administrator's use of their technology in processing personal data is lawful.

  1. Period of personal data processing

The period of data processing by the Administrator depends on the type of service provided and the purpose of processing. As a general rule, data are processed for the duration of providing the service or fulfilling the order, until the withdrawal of the consent given or the filing of an effective objection to data processing in cases where the legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of the Administrator.

The processing period may be extended if the processing is necessary for the establishment, investigation or defense of possible claims, and thereafter only if and to the extent required by law. After the expiration of the processing period, the data shall be irreversibly deleted or anonymized.

The user is entitled to: 

  1. Access to the content of the data and request for rectification, 
  2. deletion of data, 
  3. processing restrictions, 
  4. The right to data portability,
  5. The right to object to data processing,
  6. The right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority - the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection 2 Stawki Street, 00-193 Warsaw.

To the extent your data is processed on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting the Administrator.

The User has the right to object to the processing of data for marketing purposes, if the processing is carried out in connection with the legitimate interest of the Administrator, as well as - for reasons related to the User's particular situation in other cases where the legal basis for data processing is the legitimate interest of the Administrator (e.g. in connection with the implementation of analytical and statistical purposes).

  1. Recipients of data

In connection with the performance of services, personal data will be disclosed to external entities, including, in particular, suppliers responsible for the operation of IT systems, marketing agencies (for marketing services) and entities affiliated with the Administrator.

The Administrator reserves the right to disclose selected information concerning the User to competent authorities or third parties who make a request for such information, relying on the relevant legal basis and in accordance with the provisions of the applicable law.
